What are Vintage View Wine Racks?

What is a vintage view wine rack?  A vintage view wine rack is rack that lets you see the bottle from the side.  This allows you to turn the bottle to the side so that you may view any item in the rack and see its title and wine type as well as year at a glance.  Vintage views have a great advantage over much of the competition  and we'll learn about that here today.

Vintage view wine racks are not only nice looking for being able to see an entire half a bottle before plucking it from the wine rack.  They are also cost effective and affordable.  Wine racks which show the vintage view side make it easy to identify a bottle of wine without having to search or enter your own data.  The money they save is worth it alone.  A typical wine rack needs to have every bottled labeled with a neck hanging bottle label so you can see what t is without moving the bottle from the rack.  Most often you'll buy bottle labels in the 1000's and they don ot cost very much but still takes a little bit of money.

Vintage view wine racks cost about the same amount of money as any typical wine rack.  They may also be purchased in any of the same forms from metal to wooden wine racks.  I would advise not buying tremendously large vintage view racks because they can seem a bit congested if to big.  However a nice 75 bottle rack or multiple racks make great wine accessories and still very affordable.  I enjoy the freedom of the vintage style wine rack because you don't have to waste time and effort cataloging everything.  For large collections several vintage view wine racks would do the trick still.  Simply categorize by either vintage, region, winery(brand) or type of wine.  I label individual wine racks just to know where any certain type of wine I am looking for may be.

Any wine rack will do but being able to see exactly what is in a bottle without having to write anything down or guess is extremely important to me.  I am a busy person and do not have time to sit down and figure out whats what every day.  If I want a good Shiraz or a Chenin Blanc I want to be able to walk into my wine room and easily find it.  I believe vintage view racks make this task easier and without spending extreme amounts of money.
